1) Reading books. Comprehending words, lingo, plots, situations, and scenes, and visualizing concepts that can be applied towards the build of a character(s) demeanour and motive(s) within the genre of choice.
2) Any character who wildly appeals to me: movie, television, or video game character(s).
P.S. Yes - the process takes time. But is also the best part of story-developing, no doubt.
Artificial Intelligence is outstanding for the elaboration of an ideas, research, and structuring of plots (such as reiteration of words, rewording, condensing paragraphs, and overall efficient organization.) but not general gists, plots, or ideas.
